The Thailand Digital Arrival Card is an arrival-information form. Immigration’s official guide explains the information required and explicitly states that TDAC is not a visa.
Use the official TDAC service
Start from Immigration’s TDAC website and its current instructions. The official manual identifies passport, personal, travel, accommodation and relevant health information. Prepare those records before entering the form.
Check the submission timing
The manual gives a three-day pre-arrival submission timeframe. Use the current official interface for the trip you are making, rather than submitting from an old reminder months before arrival.
Review the details before confirming
- Passport spelling and number.
- Date of birth and nationality.
- Arrival and transport information.
- Accommodation in Thailand.
- Email address used to receive the result.
Where the system reads passport information automatically, compare the result with the document. Automatic extraction can save typing, but it does not remove the need to review what was entered.
Keep the final record accessible
Download or retain the confirmation in the form provided by the system. Keep it with the travel documents for the correct journey. A screenshot of an unfinished form is not the same as a completed submission.
If details change
Use the official update instructions and check which fields can be changed. Do not assume every identity field is editable. Follow the current guidance if a mistake affects a field the update process cannot alter.
Frequently asked questions
Does TDAC replace my visa?
No. Check visa eligibility and admission requirements separately.
Does one family submission remove the need to check each person?
No. Review each traveller’s identity and trip details even when using a group process.
