Online 90-Day Reporting: Checking Submission, Approval and the Next Date

An online reporting attempt is complete only when you have the appropriate accepted result. Treat “submitted,” “pending” and “approved” as different states rather than assuming the first message finishes the process.

Check eligibility for the online channel

Use immigration’s current instructions for your passport and travel history. A recent passport change, first report or re-entry can raise questions that need confirmation. Avoid treating another person’s successful online submission as proof that your own file is ready for the same channel.

Copy information from the actual records

Compare the passport number, nationality, entry details and address with the documents in front of you. Watch for similar characters such as O and zero. Keep the spelling consistent with the relevant immigration record.

Record each stage

  1. Save the submission reference and date.
  2. Monitor the result through the specified channel.
  3. Read any rejection or further-instruction message.
  4. Use the correct alternative procedure if the online route is unavailable.
  5. Keep the accepted confirmation and next reporting date.

A screenshot of an application form before submission is not a reporting receipt. Label your saved files so the final confirmation is easy to distinguish from working copies.

Do not let a pending screen hide the deadline

Keep the reporting date visible while waiting. Ask immigration what to do if the application remains unresolved or the portal cannot accept it. An error message should trigger a review of the available procedure, rather than repeated blind resubmission.

Frequently asked questions

Does “pending” mean approved?

No. Check for the final result and retain the accepted confirmation.

Does an online failure give me more time?

Do not assume so. Confirm the next step with immigration while managing the existing deadline.
